The bell chimes and everyone stands up to throw away their trash. “Gah, I have Pickard next. Damn health….” Steven complains. “You should have taken it as a Freshman.” Marcy states. “Why didn’t I?” He wonders. “I believe you said ‘Why do today what you can put off until Senior year?’ the day we chose classes.” Sam adds. Stevie thinks and then purrs, “well then, I’m a year early~”

Sam and Marcy both sigh. “Is it still Monday?” Marcy asks. “Yep.” Sam woefully confirms, “Hey, at least we have McCrea next.” “Theatre always makes my day,” Marcy looks towards Steven, “it’d make your’s, too, if you’d taken health on time.” She sticks her tongue out at him.

He tongue-sticks back at her and then goes his separate way.

Part 1

Tap, tap, tap. Sam’s pen cap clicks on her desk as she eagerly awaits the chime of the bell. 11:52 and the hallways are instantly swarmed with hundreds upon hundreds of high school students hurrying off for a little recreational time and their daily school nourishment. Sam is the last one out of her class as she prefers not to be stampeded by her dozens of peers. She throws her bag over 1 shoulder and leaves the room to be immediately greeted by her best friend, Marcy, with a loving tackle that soon has them both lying on the floor.
